COOKOUT FUNDRAISER: WEEK-TO-WEEK GUIDE
4 WEEKS PRIOR
- Appoint an adult representative from your group to be in charge of the Cookout Fundraiser.
- Make sure you have received the Cookout Fundraiser package and all its contents:
- One flyer (for copying)
- Ten Cookout Fundraiser posters
- Cookout Fundraiser tickets requested (300 ticket minimum)
- Evaluation form and guidelines
- Donation form
- Read through the Cookout Fundraiser package to understand the program. Please call the Cookout Fundraiser Office at In-N-Out Burger at (949) 509-4060 if you have any questions.
- Forward a copy of the additional insured certificate to In-N-Out.
3 WEEKS PRIOR
- Determine the ticket price (suggested selling price $5).
- Think of ways to promote the Cookout Fundraiser:
- Place articles or ads in your school newspaper
- Announce the event over the P.A. system and at assemblies
- Ask teachers to make special announcements
- Send flyers home with students or an email blast announcing the Cookout Fundraiser date
- Fill out the date, time, place, and ticket price information on the 10 posters.
- Put up the Cookout Fundraiser posters around campus in high visibility areas.
2 WEEKS PRIOR
- Continue announcing the In-N-Out Cookout Fundraiser (and how to purchase tickets) at assemblies, over the P.A. system, etc.
- Begin Cookout Fundraiser ticket sales. Remind students that they must have a ticket in order to participate in the Cookout Fundraiser. Replacement tickets will not be given to those who lose their tickets.
- Notify the school cafeteria of the final number of tickets (meals) sold so the cafeteria can plan accordingly for that day.
1 WEEK PRIOR
- Continue Cookout Fundraiser ticket sales.
- Remind students of the date, time, place and ticket price.
- Continue to promote the Cookout Fundraiser.
- Contact the In-N-Out Cookout Fundraiser Coordinator with the final ticket count three days prior to the Cookout Fundraiser date.
- An In-N-Out Cookout representative will contact you to discuss the final number of tickets sold, Cookout Truck placement, and other details.
